Painting the Fuselage

Three cross coats of primer applied.

The color is Air-Tech "Rans Cub" yellow.

The stripe is layed out with a string and pencil. The blue tape is then Carefully applied.

Much time is spent applying all that masking paper just to shoot a little blue and then watch Wayne pull it all off.

It's really cool to see the stripe emerge while removing the tape.

The dark blue stripe looks great on the bright yellow.

The right side looks just as good. The stripe will carry on to the boot cowl and end with a half arrow point.

Time to go back to the house. Doesn't she look great!
