Taking Her Apart

June 1997 - This event caught a few early morning eyes. Mostly just the farmers catching breakfast at the Blackjack country store.

Pulling in the driveway at 7:30 AM.

Keith, Justin and Brett helping me bring home a wing. Beau our four legged friend was helping too.

The boys do all the lifting.

The guys helping remove the last bit of fabric from the fuselage.

Not much left to remove.

My dad Tim and I removing the Cont. 65 HP engine.

Sand blasting the fuselage. I wouldn't wish this job on anyone.

Applying the two part epoxy primer.

Loaded and ready for a trip back to Farmville for some welding.

The fuselage getting some welding repairs by the master himself.
