Covering The Control and Stabilizer Surfaces

After the glue is dry on the tapes they must be ironed. The small iron is just hot enough to ensure that the joints are sealed.

After the glue is dry on the tapes they must be ironed. The small iron is not set hot enough for shrinking but is used to ensure that the fabric join

Having an extra set of hands was great while working on the ailerons.

The 16x24 shop is a little tight with the fuselage stuck in the corner.

The ailerons are very time consuming. After closing up the ends there is still a bunch of ironing, stitching and finish taping to be done.
