Covering Class

If you ever get a chance to attend one of Clyde Smith's three day weekend covering seminars don't pass it up. Clyde carries with him a vast knowledge of fabric covered Piper's. He arms you with the information needed to get you jump started on your project. Clyde also produces many hard to find components for the old Pipers such as instrument panels and firewalls. These classes bring together a great group of people with a common aviation interest. Look Clyde up in the "Cub Club" news letters. The class pictured below was held in the fall of 1997 but Clyde came back for another three day class in January 2001.

Attendees listen intently to Clyde Smith (The Cub Doctor) describe pre-cover requirements.

Clyde begins hands on covering techniques using the Vagabond horizontal stabilizer.
